CemNet Newsroom tells us on 3rd April that Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), owned by the Bangladeshi Ministry of Industries, is still looking for an engineering and construction contractor to convert the Chhatak cement plant into a dry-process plant in northeast Bangladesh.

Whitehopleman submitted an expression of interest to act as BCIC’s consultants for this project more than a year ago. Naturally we are still interested, although this would be undertaken with our network partners.
